Export to DXF, DWG or STEP files

Click the Export command to create DXF, DWG or STEP files of flat patterns or export 3D models to STEP for selected components. You can select the format of the exported files in the File Settings tab: DXF (AutoCAD 2000 version), DWG (AutoCAD 2000 version), STEP (3D) for 3D model export or STEP (Flat) for exporting flat patterns to STEP format.

Please note that adding text descriptions, detecting threads and small holes, adding bend angles and bend marks is supported only for DXF files.

 

 

 You can see the progress of the export in the lower left corner of the AutoDXF window:

DXF/DWG geometry settings, layers setup and file naming are based on the selected options in File Settings, DXF/DWG settings and Layers tabs.
