What’s new in AutoDXF v6.3?

AutoDXF v6.3 works with Autodesk Inventor 2025, 2026 and 2027. Please install AutoDXF v5.6 for Inventor 2022-2024 or v4.7 for Inventor 2018 - 2021.

What’s new in AutoDXF 6.3.1:

· new option: set mass units (kg or lbs) and number of decimal places for mass values

· fixed error that occurred when a sheet metal component had not yet been saved to disk

What’s new in AutoDXF 6.3.0:

· support for Inventor 2027. AutoDXF v6.3 now works with Inventor 2025, 2026 and 2027

· new function: filter out holes based on their absolute size and not only as fraction of material thickness

· new function: visually detect flat patterns that are too large based on maximum defined width and length

· new function: right click operations are now available on multiple selected items

· new function: option to open export folder in Windows Explorer after export is finished

· new function: confirmation dialog is opened after ‘Flip Flat Patterns’ button is clicked

· new function: new way to define AutoDXF text location and direction on the flat patterns using special tool in the flat pattern environment

· fixed: clicking on numeric columns headers now sorts the values correctly

· added notification if user attempts to run AutoDXF from the part environment on a multi-body solid or on a part without solid geometry

· fixed error when preset settings were editable after AutoDXF startup even if last used preset was non-default

What’s new in AutoDXF 6.0.2:

· solved problem in some cases with reading correct iPart sheet metal thickness in cases where thickness is defined as iPart parameter

· right click commands (flat pattern creation and manipulation) on iParts are now disabled

What’s new in AutoDXF 6.0.1:

§ New option to create bend marks along entire bend line but with specified offset from the contour. Useful for some press brakes such as Amada.

§ Added new option to set line type for bend marks.

§ New option for force processing DXF files even if no processing option is selected. This results in much smaller (up to 10x) file sizes.

§ Bend marks now adjust their length if the bending line is too short.

§ Fixed error when creating bend marks if IV_BEND and IV_BEND_DOWN layers are not selected for export.
