AutoDXF (from version v6) system of presets enables you to save different settings of the entire program. A preset contains:
- program settings,
- layer settings,
- DXF text settings
- Custom iProperty settings
- file naming settings.
The presets are managed
here:

The Default preset is always present and cannot be deleted. It is editable by default and cannot be locked for editing.
If the option AutoSave settings in the Settings menu is enabled, the program behaves in the same way as in previous versions: all the settings can be changed, and they are automatically saved when you close the program.
A new preset is loaded by selecting it from the drop-down menu:

Click the
button to create a new
preset. A new preset is always created as a copy of currently
active preset. After clicking the button the message is
displayed:

Click Yes to save the changes made to the currently active preset or No to discard the changes. After that enter the new preset name:

After clicking OK a new preset is created and selected:
![]()
All user presets are by default read-only. This means that most of the settings cannot be changed. If you want to change them, you have to enable the Edit option:
![]()
Even if Edit isn’t enabled the export file save location can be changed.
Click the
button to manually save the
current preset changes. If the AutoSave settings in the
Settings menu is enabled the changes will be saved when you
close the program
Currently active preset can
be deleted by clicking the
button. The Default
preset is activated after the deletion.
The presets are saved in the subfolders of the settings folder. Open the settings folder by clicking the Open settings folder command in the Settings menu.

The subfolders marked with red rectangle are 4 different presets. To transfer the presets simply copy them to the settings folder on the target computer.
